Improve Employee Communication - Sending the earnings statements directly to employee e-mail also gives you the ability to send a broadcast message to all employees. This additional service and communication can improve employee morale and retention. Employees that do not have a valid e-mail address in the system will not receive the earnings statement via e-mail. Employees with a valid e-mail address and direct deposit who wish to not receive the earnings statement via e-mail can be added to an exception list and will not receive the e-mail. (See Figure 1)
Easy to Use and Saves You Time - With E-Mail Earnings Statements functionality built into the Post Payroll Checks window, emailing the earnings statements requires only a few additional steps as you process payroll. You will save time and paper by not having to print and manually distribute the earnings statements. However, printing is still an option for employees who do not wish to receive their statements sent via e-mail. (See Figure 2)
Improve Employee Communications — Employees can easily view their direct deposit earnings statement in their Microsoft Outlook inbox. The earnings statement is attached as an Adobe PDF document. The employee does not need to log onto a web portal to view the statement. (See Figure 3)
