Additional Tax Information for Employees by State

Several states have certain requirements for data that needs to be reported. In this section, we will review state-specific data required for reporting through our Additional Tax Information page and Payroll Codes. In general, the following data is required for all states:

  • Social Security Number
  • First and last name
  • Hire Date
  • Standard Occupational Code (SOC Code) for employee’s position
  • Job Title / Position
  • Worksite Unit Number (for employers with multiple worksites)
