Add a New Supervisor
From the Advanced Time and Attendance Home Screen, click the ‘Security’ tab and select ‘Supervisors’ from the dropdown list. Then click on ‘+Add New Supervisor’.

Add the Supervisor’s information. Use the Supervisor’s email address for the login name. The SMS notification is optional.

A QUICK TIP
The system is designed to let the new Supervisor activate their own account by responding to an email. During setup, you may want to use an email address that you have access to, rather than new Supervisor’s actual email. This will give you access to activate the account and assign employees to the supervisor right away. Once it is activated, you can change it to the Supervisor’s email address.
If you let the Supervisor activate their own account, you will have to wait until this step has been completed before you can assign employees to them.
Supervisors will show on the list below once their accounts have been activated.

Below is an example of the activation email. Click the link to activate the Supervisor’s account.

The password that was included in the email should be entered in the ‘Password sent:’ box via copy and paste. Then create the New password and Password confirmation following the guidelines listed. When finished with entries, click the ‘Activate’ button.

Now that the Supervisors account has been activated, they will appear on the supervisor list and employees can be assigned to them.
Assign Employees to a New Supervisor
Employees can be assigned to Primary and Secondary Supervisors. A Secondary Supervisor can complete Advanced Time and Attendance maintenance. This is helpful when the Primary Supervisor is out of the office.
From the Advanced Time and Attendance Homepage, click the ‘Security’ tab and select ‘Supervisors’. The Supervisors window will open with a list of all the supervisors.
To assign employees to a supervisor, locate their name in the list and click ‘Assign Employees’ from the Primary or Secondary column.

When the Employee Assignment window opens, click the ‘Filter’ tab. Check the boxes for the employees who will report directly to this supervisor.

Click the ‘View Assigned’ tab to see a list of the employees that have been assigned to this supervisor.

Click the ‘Confirm’ tab to save changes. A window will open asking if you are sure you want to save this change. If you do, click the ‘OK’ button.

You will see a success notification. Click the ‘Ok’ button.

There are two ways to assign an employee to a supervisor. This can also be done through the Employee’s file.
To do this, go to the Advanced Time and Attendance Homepage, Click the ‘Employee’ tab and select ‘Employee Details’.

Find the employee’s name that you want to make changes to from the list. Click ‘Edit’.
