Configuring Posting Date vs. Payment Date in Payroll NOW

Disabling “Set Posting Date Equal to Payment Date”

  • 1. Navigate to Full Payroll Menu >> Setup >> Payroll Setup >> Show More (top right corner)

  • 2. Locate the setting Set Posting Date Equal to Payment Date.

  • 3. Set this option to No (disabled).

  • 4. Step out of the Payroll Setup card to save the configuration.

Once disabled, the system will respect the posting date you manually enter during payroll batch creation, allowing different posting and payment dates.
