How to resolve the “Upload to Integrity Cloud Services failed” error in Employee E-Mail Suite

Overview

This article explains how to resolve the “Upload to Integrity Cloud Services failed. Changes are not saved.” error that can occur when managing Employee E-Mail Suite entitlements in Microsoft Dynamics GP. The resolution involves ensuring the Employee E-Mail Suite feature is properly marked for the company and allowing time for the entitlement to synchronize.

Symptoms

  • Error message appears when saving changes in the Integrity Data Feature Manager window: “Upload to Integrity Cloud Services failed. Changes are not saved.”
  • Changes to payroll feature entitlements for Employee E-Mail Suite are not saved.
  • Upload attempts for the Employee E-Mail Suite entitlement do not complete successfully.

Cause

The error occurs because the Employee E-Mail Suite entitlement for the company is not fully registered or marked in the Integrity Data Feature Manager configuration. When the feature is not properly marked for the company, the upload to Integrity Cloud Services cannot complete, resulting in the “Upload to Integrity Cloud Services failed. Changes are not saved.” message.

Resolution

  1. In Microsoft Dynamics GP, navigate to the Integrity Data Feature Manager window, for example: Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > Setup > System > Integrity Data Feature Manager (menu path may vary by environment).
  2. Locate the company for which you are configuring Employee E-Mail Suite.
  3. In the list of features, find Employee E-Mail Suite (EES).
  4. Ensure that the checkbox or option to enable/mark EES for this company is selected.
  5. Save the changes in the Integrity Data Feature Manager window.
  6. Allow some time for the entitlement information to synchronize with Integrity Cloud Services. The update is not always immediate and may require a short waiting period.
  7. After waiting, return to the Integrity Data Feature Manager window and attempt the upload or save operation again.
  8. Confirm that the upload completes without the “Upload to Integrity Cloud Services failed. Changes are not saved.” error and that your changes to the Employee E-Mail Suite entitlements are now saved.

Additional Information

  • If the error persists after marking EES and waiting for synchronization, verify your internet connectivity and any firewall/proxy settings that may block communication with Integrity Cloud Services, then retry.
  • If marking EES does not resolve the error, the same message can also stem from a stale workstation client configuration and registration tables: an extra endpoint line in the workstation’s dynamics.exe.config, together with stale rows in the APRSecurity, APRComponentsSetup, and APRComponentsDetail tables. The fix is to remove that endpoint line on each affected workstation and perform a one-time registration refresh (clear those three tables and relaunch GP as an administrator). Contact Integrity Data Support for the exact config and SQL steps.
