Hi, I’m Patrick Doolin, CEO of Integrity Data. There is a lot of speculation and many opinions out there on what will happen with the Affordable Care Act under the Trump Administration. And, we as employers are faced with decisions of what we’re supposed to do yet this filing season.
The executive order that was signed on January 20th by President Trump really did not change any of the requirements for us as employers. So, rational thinking would say that we must still do what is necessary to comply with the law, which the most important thing on everyone’s mind is completing the 1094 and 1095-C forms.
The risk of non-compliance for employers far outweighs the small amount of effort and the cost that it takes to actually complete the forms and get them out to your employees.
